One thing we've learned in the Dakota Showdown is sometimes you can have a great trainer and a good horse but the match just isn't quite right. Sometimes something as simple as changing the environment, trainer and methods can make a huge difference - and that doesn't mean either the original trainer or horse is wrong, just that the match didn't work. It takes a responsible and selfless trainer to reach out and ask for help! It is the same for adopters, too.
