Today we'll be sharing all of the initial posts the trainers have posted as their horses arrive and settle in.
Luna is a 9-year-old Mustang mare from the same herd as
#showdownteamterra. She also participated in the Showdown last year, however was withdrawn when her trainer had an injury on another horse. She's a beautiful, strong mare who moves a bit more like a gaited horse, and after a thorough medical check including x-rays of all the joints in her hind end, she has headed
out to a talented younger trainer, Stetsen Fedders, for a summer of training and hopefully a lot of riding! Watch for
#showdownteamluna at Newton Hills and 4H this summer - and definitely keep an eye on this team!
